Platform-independent representation of CATIA
V4-data with netVRML.

Vrml was established as standard format for 3D data in and outside the internet. The format is platform independent and can work for example in Internet Browsers as the Internet Explorer or the Netscape Communicator; in addition it can also work on numerous CAD viewers and other 3D representing programs.

Beside vrml 1,0 netVRML also supports the ISO standard VRML97. VRML97 makes possible the representation of files compressed by animations, the integration of textures and Multimedia, the control over Java applet and use. The different products of the product row have different emphasis.

It has the following features:
