Radprofile is packed with advanced technology to ensure
that you get the most out of your machine tools.
To start, it is simple to import component geometry
into Radprofile and ensure that it is ready for manufacturing.
Simply drag DXF, DWG or IGES files onto the Radprofile
window. However, Radprofile goes much further, automatically
checking the integrity of profiles and fixing problems.
Duplicate geometry is removed and tiny gaps in the profile
are closed.
Radprofile incorporates material and cutting condition
databases so that cutting is reliable and repeatable.
Once a material has been assigned to the part, different
cutting conditions can be assigned to individual profiles.
Typically, profile geometry and lead-in, lead-out positions
are calculated when the parts have been nested. This
is a completely automatic process and enables each component
on the nest to be profiled optimally and individually.
With flat bed lasers, a common problem is that of parts
tipping up and presenting a potential collision hazard.
Radprofile's smart lead-in feature addresses this by
ensuring that the direction of travel, after a profile
is cut, is always away from that profile.
